This is to know what YOU guys want.

We will not yet announce the full details of the party since it is still in the planning stage.

All you we can tell you is that...
1. We're trying to raise funds so it won't be as expensive as before.
2. The tentative date for the party is Aug 28. (FRIDAY)
3. We're looking for a good venue and good theme. If we find one here we might use that one.
4. Remember this party is COMPULSORY.
5. We're also trying to redesign the program flow so it will be most entertaining and most acquainting.
6. NO, we can't have a beach party.
7. NO, we won't have a BOTB but we're trying to find something similar but less limiting to only BANDS.
8. NO, we can't sponsor an AFTER PARTY but you guys are free to organize on your own.
9. Costumes are totally dependent on the theme.
10. Don't worry. WE WILL CONSULT YOU GUYS.

anyways my only concern is:

how would things be arranged for people having 8:30 classes on a Saturday? if the AP's on Friday, can we have chances to suspend Saturday classes?

never had this situation before that's why I don't know how things like these would work...

that was a concern before...

i dont think they were able to excuse the saturday classes
but since most teachers on sat are those with the MCS dept
they already know about the acq party...

we'll see what we can do about it
