It depends on the person if he or she is interested with photography... And photography nowadays becomes a hobby...
well having a DSLR cam is one thing, but one thing is for sure; you cant play Crysis at high settings with a camera! GPU(a.k.a. Video/Graphics Card) related questions here! - Page 2 75633

a video card also comes in handy when it comes to video editing and 3d modeling-creation. for example lets say your generating a video scene wherein you are inserting a 3d animated object into a recorded vid clip, and the length of the whole clip is around 15-20 seconds. and i tell you... rendering a scene like that takes 8+ hrs if you rely on your shared/integrated on-board graphics... a high-end card can render it to at least less than an hour. So it all boils down to where you are going to use your card. If your editing pictures, well you can rely on integrated graphics and its a whole other story when it comes to vid editing and not to mention playing the latest games...

Like i said everything has its purpose... If you want a DLSR , then buy one... Im not discouraging anyone to not buy one... In fact i might buy one in the near future for hobbies sake..

If you want your PC to be able to play cool games, then by vid card(s)...

Everybody has there own likes and dislikes,
I'm a enthusiast gamer so its natural for me to be more interested in VidCards and other hardware issues related to gaming performance...

hahaha, unsaon taman... Nagpapresyo man gyd ang INTEL and NVIDIA sa ilang mga products... why pay more when you can get the same or better performance using AMD-ATI. Diri man gud sa Pinas, kusog ang market sa Intel kay mao may nakauna ug establish diri sa philippines.
