Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

In this world, there exist people with special abilities to manipulate objects and transform one object into another. These people are known as alchemists. This process does come with a cost though, the basic law of alchemy states that in order to gain something you have to sacrifice something of the same value.
The main character is the famous alchemist Edward Elric - also known as the Fullmetal Alchemist - who almost lost his little brother, Alphonse, in an accident. Edward managed to contain his brother's soul in a large suit of armor. While he did manage to save his brother's life, he had to pay a great price himself.
To get back what they've lost, the brothers embark on a journey to find the Philosophers Stone that is said to amplify the powers of an alchemist enormously.
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is a re-telling of the story from the manga point of view.

So far, do you think the first FMA is better than the second?
- Brotherhood isn't bad, but I still prefer the first FMA. Compared to the latter Brotherhood seems to be faster paced. FMA1's got a slow and darker feel to it, which is exactly to my liking. And what's more FMA1 is more gory... and that's another plus XD
Why do you like/dislike this anime?
- Characters with rich individuality, awesome action, epic plotline, awesome music, great animation, bishies and bishoujous.... what more could I ask for?
Who's your favorite character?

i havent seen the first one pero i can REALLY say na mas nndut ang animation ug art sa new brotherhood one....roy mustang kicks rears!heheehe...mga 2 years ago sa amu REED 20 cguro or 30, sa amu manito manita i recieved an FMA dvd pero naboringan mn ko sa ako gi-ilis ug samurai x na dvd na unknowingly ang language mahimung indonesian or indian human muhapon LOL...a part of me regrets doing that kay i really like FMA now...but i dnt read the manga though...

me~ i'm watching it on Animax!! i'm an avid fan of the first series, FMA, too..
So far, do you think the first FMA is better than the second?
i think that the second one will totally kick ass compared to the first since it follows the manga's storyline.. have u read wiki? it has tons of characters!! can't wait for these new characters to appear!
Why do you like/dislike this anime?
i like animes that have twists and those with unpredictable plots... and this is by far one of the best ones i've seen.
