POLL - DO YOU WANT LOCKERS FOR OUR FLOOR?

Kapoy sige'g dala sa atong mga butang sa campus, so here's a poll,
do you want lockers for our floor in the Bunzel building? -- but wait,
before you answer that question, we gotta think about things first.

Yeah, having lockers is a good thing, less kapoy, more organised,
happy tang tanan, pero, what about our budget?

"Oh sure, I'd like to have a place/thing where I can put mu stuff into,"
is what you'd probably say, but to obtain this means more money being
sucked out of our parents' pockets, and for some, their own.

So, still want that locker??

YES it's better if we have lockers on our floor. but if that's not possible, there are available lockers for rent at the bunzel/eng building on the 2nd floor. you may inquire at the comp-e department. it's not for comp-e students only. i used to rent a locker there even though we used to be at the AS building. the cost is around 120 for one academic year (1st sem and 2nd sem), summer not included. i'm not sure though. ask the working student at the comp-e dept.

here are reasons why you should get a locker:
1. you don't want a shoulder or back pain, do you?
2. you don't want to waste energy bringing heavy and unnecessary loads to your next class. you'd rather want to bring the things you only need!
3. it's for security purposes. VERY IMPORTANT!
*you don't want to lose your belongings because you left them in classrooms or corridors you can't even remember.
*you don't want to end end up buying a new one just to replace lost items (e.g. calculators and books, which will cost you more than the price of getting a locker!)
4. many other reasons..

So think twice of getting a locker especially when you have too many to bring during the day.

I agree w/ alice, it is very convenient to have lockers, and dili ra man siya para sa mga tapulan kay ang mga tapulan dili man jud mag dala ug stuff to the campus in the first place. Neutral

lockers aren't actually needed for our course.

so many are worrying about their heavy books?
that's simple, only take the books the teachers are to inspect. it has been my experience bringing all of the books needed for each class which I would end up not using.

PE uniforms? it's a matter of strategy. you just have to fix how the things in your bag are to be placed.

trust me, examining the current lockers at TC, i'm not really sure how secure our things can get. think about the lockers for the Applied Physics students. not well secured.

the admin isnt the one handling those lockers... they are owned by CompE dept and their various laboratories...

Hmmm... if the lockers were wade of steel or any metal, then i would gladly agree with the others. but seeing the conditions of the current lockers in the engr. bldg., i wouldn't care to get one. wooosh, not unless if you have been to the CAFA bldg. everything is like so MODERN.... I wonder what word would i put if i would describe the bunzel bldg., ANCIENT? hahhaa, for crying out loud, CAFA students get a canteen dats lyk a foodcourt, not to mention "hotdog on sticks"! it may be not that important but
some people do need those especially the naning ones. *ehem*
i rented a locker in a nowhere place.
i have books. (and if i always bring the books)
ill be dead sooner or later.
it would have been better if there's a locker on our floor
for easy-access.
